Size Chart and Putting Boots On

GETTING THE RIGHT SIZE FOR YOUR DOG
Have your dog stand on a piece of paper. Make a pencil mark on both sides at the widest part of paw. Measure that distance, choose the correct size.  If size doesn't match weight range, or you're just not sure, shoot us an email with breed of dog and weight and we'll recommend size. The difference between sizes is small, but that 1/4" can be the difference between a boot that stays on and one that doesn’t. Dog boots should fit like a glove. Boots that are too big tend to twist and WILL fall off!  Please have dog walk and run around the house to make sure you purchased the correct size, preferably on a smooth floor, not on carpet as the velcro straps tend to get stuck.
PUTTING BOOTS ON

Open straps. Stretch the cuff really wide and wiggle paw in carefully tucking in dew claws. Use your pups elbow as leverage to make sure their nails reach the very front of the boot. Tuck hair/fur into cuff and secure the velcro strap for a SNUG fit.

Most dogs acclimate to the boots within 10 minutes.  Be encouraging and offer treats! :)
